IKEA HAVSTA/HEMNES shelf support

This is a replacement shelf support based on the IKEA HAVSTA/HEMNES part.

I tried to make it as accurate as possible — it fits well in my case.

Printing

• 7–8 perimeters (walls) for a near-solid / 100% solid part

• print on the side, with supports

I printed mine in PLA and it’s surprisingly strong, but for better durability I’d recommend ASA or ABS.

Safety / Disclaimer
This is a 3D-printed replacement part. Use it at your own risk. Before regular use, make sure the shelf sits securely and doesn’t wobble or slip. Always test it first with a light load and increase the load gradually.

For safety reasons, don’t use this part for heavy shelves or in places where a falling shelf could hurt someone (e.g. above a bed, a desk, or in a child’s room).

Also note: IKEA sells original metal shelf supports/spare parts in some cases. If you can get the original metal supports, that’s the recommended option as a first choice — this print is mainly meant as a DIY backup/temporary replacement.
