Gridfinity Base Plate for IKEA ÖVNING trolley

Description

This is a standard 42mm Gridfinity baseplate for the top of IKEA ÖVNING trolley.

Overall mounted dimensions: 495x317mm. 

Difference between V1 and V2:

• V1 is completely centered on the surface, and uses additional spacers on the edges to hold the grid centered.

• V2 is as big as the surface of the ÖVNING is, but the grid is therefore not centered. See Pictures below. No spacers required.

Printing

If you print V1, print additionally

• 4x 10mm spacer

• 4x 5mm spacer

The model fits on 4 Core ONE Printbeds. 

I used the following settings:

Material: PLA
Profile: 0,20mm Balanced
Infill: 15%, 10% is maybe also enough, but does not save much time and material.
No Support is needed

Assembly

The plate has nipples on the edges and corresponding openings on the other side to hold it together.
Assembly is as follows:

V2:

V1:

Glue the Spacers 5 and 10mm on the bottom of the grid, to center it.

• 6mm spacers on the long side (red)

• 11,5mm spacers on the short side (blue)
