HEX-bit holder wall mounted - 2 versions

I was looking for a bit holder for my workshop here on printables. Unfortunately, I couldn't find one that allowed me to remove the bits easily because they were always placed too close together.

Well, that's why there are now two more bit holders to print.

Features:

• For all ¼ inch bits – short + long

• 2 versions with different storage angles

• Fastened with screws (SPAX) 3.5 x 16 mm (or longer)

• 208 x 96 mm, holds 50 bits

Printing hints

Both models are made from two parts, because I printed without bottom layers. To increase strength around the screw holes, I placed a second part (ext) and set infill to 100%. So you can save a lot of material, reduce printing time and still have a strong mounting point.

Designed and printed for PETG and a .4 nozzle for a "softer" bit grip and perfect fit. Other materials, printers or nozzles may need a gentle scaling of the model for a perfect fit. Try printing only a part of the model using the "cut model" function in PrusaSlicer for testing. That saves material, time and frustration.
