Description
This is a 3D printable model of Tehran’s Azadi Tower (Liberty Tower) – one of Iran’s most recognizable landmarks. I scanned a replica of the original landmark.
It works great as:
A desk ornament or shelf decor
A gift or souvenir for anyone connected to Tehran or Iran
An architectural model for students, teachers, or collectors
A display piece for cultural or travel-themed setups
The geometry is modeled to capture the tower’s iconic curved arch, façade pattern, and overall proportions while staying printable on standard FDM 3D printers.
Designed for FDM 3D printers (Creality, Prusa, Bambu, etc.)
Ideal for PLA (but PETG/ABS also work with tuned settings)
Optimized for a 0.4 mm nozzle
Supplied as:
1 file,
Can be scaled up or down depending on your bed size and desired final height
For a small desk version, printing around 120–180 mm tall works nicely. Larger prints (200+ mm tall) will show even more detail.
Print the tower upright, with the base on the build plate.
This keeps the geometry true to real proportions and avoids distortion.
Depending on your slicer and overhang performance, you may:
Print without supports if your printer handles overhangs well, or
Enable minimal supports for the central arch and any steep overhangs.
See the Print Settings section below for more details.
Optional, but nice if you want to make it pop:
Sanding: Lightly sand layer lines, especially on the curved surfaces.
Priming & Painting:
Prime with a filler primer and then paint in stone white, concrete gray, or marble effect.
You can add subtle weathering with diluted gray or brown acrylics in the grooves.
Multicolor options:
Print in marble PLA or silk white for a premium look.
Use a color change at different heights for a stylized or artistic version.
