Description
I printed a modified lightweight version of the HTLF (happy turtle lettuce feeder). I used the original PCB originally designed for the 3D chameleon with modified code. There is no need to physically modify anything on the PCB. The OLED display can no longer be connected to the PCB. The home switch and WS2812B LEDs are connected to the existing connectors. Everything works great. I switched to the HTLF only because with the 3D chameleon it happened to me that when it inserted one filament, it simultaneously ejected another. This happened quite often, especially when printing with a large number of filament switching. The HTLF design completely eliminates this problem.
I currently use it on my Ad5M printer, which fits nicely with the cover originally designed for the Ad5X.
Changing the filament is done the same way as with the 3D Chameleon - via commands with a switch.
