Description

This is a unit designed to be made into a HEPA air filter.

With a 120mm fan mounted each side, it both pushes and pulls air through the HEPA filters slotted inbetween. It can be mounted directly to an enclosure (as pictured), or with a connector panel it can be fitted in-line with an extractor tube using the additional part (TubeConnector).

The final part is the “Fan Cover” which is just an optional part to cover the fan without restricting airflow.

I've used two Noctua NF-F12 fans as they are powerful and a single EFISH power supply which I wired both of them up to allowing them to be powered directly from the mains.

It has been designed for you to use threaded inserts melted into the screw sockets such as these. You'll need 8 of these for the full module.

These are the filter cartages it's designed to use. It takes two at a time and they just slot down into the module (there are two holes on the base you can stick something through to poke them back out again when it's time to change them).

The arrows on the side denote the direction of airflow so you can line up your fans and filters for the air to all flow in the correct direction.

If you're using the TubeConnector to use this indoors, the extractor hose does sit quite snuggly on it anyway, but if you'd like to add a little bonus grip, I designed this clamp to attach the hose to any tube of a similar size.
