Description
I found many mounts for the 10l version, but nothing suitable for the 22l. So I made this 2-piece set to be able to mount the bin on the inside of a cabinet door and one on the outside of another cabinet.
For our use case of light trash this is sufficiently strong. A test with a couple kilos of dog food looked good, though.
## Before print ##
Make sure to check the side you need the lid to open as the top part is asymmetrical. Just mirror in case. Original opens left, mirrored opens right (see pictures).
Print standing upright for best structural strength. I accidentially printed one set with only two walls and 15% infill, but it still holds perfectly fine. Went to 4 walls and 50% infill for the second one though to be safe.
## Mounting ##
3.5mm screw heads will perfectly fit the holes.
For 16-19mm plywood furniture you'll need 5pcs 3.5x20 screws for the top and 4pcs 3.5x30 screws for the bottom.
Put the top part on the bin and mark the position you want to have it (make sure you can open the lid if that's important to you.
Take the top part and fasten it with a first screw in the center. Now you can easily level the part and add the remaining 4 screws.
For the bottom part, put the bin back in place in the top holder and hold the bottom part in place under it. Leave ca. 5mm of room to be able to get the bin in and out easily. Put a piece of painter's tape over the bottom edge of the part and onto the furniture to mark the position.
Remove the bin and put the first screw in. Remove the tape, level the part and put the other screws in.
## Attach bin ##
Slide the bin into the top part at an angle first, then put the bin on the bottom part.
