Description
The RC Modular Rail Shelf System is a modular, space-efficient solution for displaying and storing RC vehicles of varying sizes using a rail-based support system and 3D-printed components.
The current configuration uses a vertical wooden dowel as the primary mounting structure, with additional mounting options planned through milestone unlocks.
The system consists of:
Base mount that accepts a vertical wooden dowel
Sliding shelf modules that lock onto the dowel
Dual-rail arm design, allowing two adjustable support arms per shelf
This design allows you to display anything from lightweight crawlers to larger buggies while keeping parts count low and strength high.
Wooden dowel rod: 25.5 mm (1") diameter, any length
Fasteners: M4 x 3 set screws (any M4 screw should work, but may protrude out back)
Vehicle Compatibility
The included arm sizes cover a wide range of common RC platforms.
If your vehicle doesn’t fit perfectly, verified purchasers may request up to two custom sizes per purchase, added to the model at no extra cost.
Inner width between front and rear tires
Outer width between left and right tires
