Ukraine Flag Pins

Lots of options here. There are now 8 versions of these pins in two-color and 8 versions in one-color available for printing.. There are 4 flags, 2 hearts, and 2 disc pins. All have a tab in the bag to help hold either 15mm or 25mm pin backs once glued is first applied. 

Ukrainian Flag

This project was designed to print with a modern single-color printer. Any printer that allows for a pause for a filament change will work, but if you use Prusa Slicer you can program in a pause when you slice your model. Much easier.

Vertically Printed Flags

The vertically printed versions of the Ukrainian flag are designed to be printed upside down. That is blue on the bottom, yellow on top. The reason for this is the back of these buttons has a tab to help secure bar pins in place. Unless you're very confident in printing small surface vertical items on your bed, it is recommended that you print the vertical flags with brims.

Flat Flags

For the flat printed flags, brims aren't necessary. Though not as nice as the through color version, this version prints faster.

Hearts

Two versions are included. A small one requires harder to find 3/4" bar pins. The larger one is 125% in XY requires more commonly available 1" pins.

New Disc Versions added 4/17/22. Discs in two sizes and two-color and one-color versions. 

Ukrainian Peace Sign

(added 5/3/22) Two color and one color versions. Like the flags and heart version, you can print this with a one color 3Dprinter by either programing in a pause via Prusa Slicer or G-Code editor or watching for the layer shift and changing filaments.

Tabs

I design a lot of buttons and I find gluing them with epoxy is not very secure. So, I designed a tab for button backs. To secure a bar pin use a small dab of epoxy just below the front of the tab, push the pin onto the epoxy and slide underneath the tab. Once dry, the pin is secure and will not come off.

Included are three versions of the flag of Ukraine button. In each version, there is a 1 color variation that becomes a two-color project with a pause and filament change and a Prusa MMU 2 color variation.

1) Vertically printed flag, bowed out to enhance the surface. This looks particularly nice in Silky filaments. Print blue to 9mm then switch to yellow.
2) Vertically printed flag. Print blue to 9mm then switch to yellow.
3) Horizontally printed flag. Print yellow to 3mm then blue

Also included are two versions of a heart pin, using the same approach as above. One-color with a pause for a filament change. Two-color for a Prusa MMU2.

Added disc versions. Like the heart pin, it comes in two sizes and one and two-color variations.
