Description
I'm too lazy to press all the individual power switches all the time, so my PC desk has power switches for the following sections:
- MAIN
- PC
- DISPLAY
- OUTLETS
MAIN is a switch, which can be used to immediately switch everything on and off. PC is used for power outlets to which the PC and docking station are connected and is mostly used to power cycle my docking station, which sometimes has issues and needs to be reset. My 3 LCD screens are connected to outlets behind the DISPLAY switch. And outlets are used to power off two active powered speaker.
I used a standard European phase, neutral and earth wire for input power and a 5 wire, phase, neutral, earth and two switched wires, to power the individual power outlets.
Switch square size 29 x 21.20 mm
Rear cable holes:
- 12mm diameter (I used a Kalitec H07RN-F 5 x 1.5 mm² Rubber Cable)
- 8mm diameter
Bolt head head diameter 7.20mm, height 4mm and distance from bolt head to end of screw is 8.25mm, maximum thread length 40.875mm
Square nut should fit within 7.2x7.2mm. I hot glued them in place.
