Hollow Knight - Split model - No MMU

Well… it's here. And its big… 

…really big!

You may notice it strays a bit from the lore character, I added some accents and details to make it more menacing and insect like. It is very easy to assemble and comes with a rotating ball joint for the head so you can pose it any way you want.

 

Due to the extremely weird posture, I failed to balance it like my other ones, so I made a decorative base for it… which I now realise I should have used green for… well, its glued now…

Assembly:

Printing precautions… you need to clean your plate and hope there are no drafts that may knock the print off. The cloak has A LOT of supports and things that could go wrong. I printed it on a coreXY and it went without issues, however if you are using a bed slinger, apply glue, slow the speed and protect it from drafts. Turn on avoid crossing walls and reduce acceleration to prevent supports being knocked off.

When removing supports, take care and work your way slowly, I tore off a part of a cape because I was a bit rough.

Assembly is very easy, the only thing to pay attention is attaching it to the base. Use good quality super glue, apply to the legs and the cloak. When attaching the body to the cloak, make sure that all three are lined up with the floor. Mine did not because I did not check, so I dipped the cloak into hot water and bent it. 

Also I should have placed it a bit more centered on the base, so make sure you view the model from above to decide the placement
