This custom‑designed rubber bumper is a direct replacement for the small noise‑damping stop used on the Kia EV9 center armrest lid. The original rubber piece often goes missing or wears down, causing the armrest to rattle or make noise when resting your elbow on it. This part restores the soft, cushioned contact between the lid and the console base.

The bumper was intentionally engineered for flexible TPU material to achieve the right combination of firmness, grip, and noise absorption. Its geometry relies on TPU’s ability to compress slightly during installation and then expand to lock securely into place. Because of this, other materials such as PLA, PETG, or ABS may not fit correctly or may not stay seated.

The design uses a snug press‑fit interface that requires light pressure to install but holds firmly once in place. When printed in TPU, it provides a durable, OEM‑like feel while preventing clacks, rattles, and vibration from the armrest lid.
