Universal Tabletop Double Clamp Holder (Helping Hands)

Universal double table clamp as a practical aid to support work or to present objects.

Application examples: soldering stand, support for filament joining, presentation of objects, information holder, etc.

Printing recommendation:

• 0.4 nozzle

• 0.2mm Structural

• Organic support - support on build plate only (easy to remove)

• 3 Perimeter

• 15% infill Gyroid

Additional Parts (not printable):

• 2 Clothepin Springs (e.g. from broken clothepins) 

• 2 M3x12mm Socket Head Screws (optional)

• 6 Self-adhesive Rubber Bumpers 10x3mm (optional) 

Assembly information:

1. Insert one spring into the clamp base as shown in picture 1

2. Turn the spring into the recess (picture 2)

3. Press it down until it sits firm, check on the opposit side, the hanger should be in the recess.

4. Take one clamp top and slide it over the spring (see picture 4)

5. Turn the clamp part as shown in picture 5

6. Press it down onto the clamp base (picture 6)

7. Repeat step 1 to 6 on the second clamp

• Additional steps (optional)

  • Use the M3x12mm screws and screw them into the upper clamps until they are secure (do not overtighten)

  • The screws are used as guide for the clamp movement and also prevent disassembly of the clamp

  • Insert 6 self-adhesive rubber bumper (10 mm diameter, 3 mm thick) into the recesses on the bottom of the base.

  • The rubber bumpers prevent the clamp assy to slide around on the desk
