IKEA SKÅDIS Wall Mount Bracket – 3D Printable Replacement

This project contains two 3D printable wall mount brackets for the IKEA SKÅDIS pegboard, designed as a replacement for the original wall mounting hardware.

The idea came from a common problem: the original SKÅDIS wall mounts are sometimes missing from the package. After obtaining the original part, I recreated and adapted it for reliable 3D printing — so others can easily print their own mounts.

Included versions:

Full-length bracket — equivalent to the original mount, with 8-hole spacing

Short version — compact variant with 5-hole spacing, suitable for smaller printers

⚠ Note:

The full-length version is quite long and may not fit on all printers. The short version is recommended if you have limited build volume.

🔩 Hardware Required

After printing, threaded inserts must be heat-set into the model:

Threaded inserts: M4 × 5 × 6 mm

(M4 thread / 5 mm outer diameter / 6 mm length)

Original IKEA SKÅDIS bolts use M4, so these inserts are fully compatible.

The brackets also include adjustable wall mounting slots, allowing you to align the pegboard easily and level it during installation.
