Description

This duct is an attempt to better guide the air along the heatbreak. It will help to cool down the heatbreak by a homeopathic dose of °C. Because i always want to see the extruder gear moving, i never use the original cover. Even if it fits, i wouldn't use both.

Printing

  • walls: 1

  • bottom shell layers: 4

  • layer height: 0.16mm

  • infill: 0%

  • support: yes (optionally enable: Ironing Support Interface)

  • minimum feature size: 80

Screws

  • 2x M2x10

Material

PETG is recommended over PLA. PLA Its is near its limit and will look like so, but stay in that shape:

Version 2.0 with added L-profile to prevent this bending should fix it for PLA.
