Description
I didn't get the Prusa Advanced Filtration kit when ordering the Core One L - but as I have been printing quanties of ASA recently, subsequently got the BlueRolls fan and HEPA filter from Aliexpress . The jury is out as to how effective the system is - but this is a box similar to the official Prusa one I made to mount it to the Core One L.
Printed in PETG - but any filament should be OK as it doesn't seem to get too warm.
Prints without supports. However the four countersinks in the mounting holes on the main box have a sacrificial support layer - clear those out with a drill or hex driver. It is screwed onto the printer with 4 M3 x 10mm (or 12mm) machine screws.
The fan is held in place with the FanMount part using two countersunk M4 screws.
Installation is pretty much follows the official instructions .
The wire that came with the BlueRolls fan was really long, so I rolled it up and held it with a cable tie. This bundle fits nicely under the circuit board. The fan plugs into the FAN3 connector on the board. I also found it helpful to tape the electonics cover to stop it dropping while screwing it back on.
