Description
Recently I got a new mandolin and realized that there was no place to put the pick after playing it, I shoved it into my watch band and it stayed but it didn’t feel tight enough to not fall out, so I designed this: a guitar pick holder for 22mm watch bands.
It fits all standard shape guitar picks, it also fits a US quarter if you ever wanted one on your wrist; thicker picks fit more tightly than thin picks, and some thin picks feel really loose, but they don’t fall out no matter how much I shake it.
To print it you can insert a pause on the layer before it starts bridging and insert the guitar pick included in the print file, or one of your own, and cover the top in sharpie so none of the bridges stick to it, or print the guitar pick in PLA and not color the top with sharpie, (if you print it in PLA you have to let the bed cool before you remove it so that it doesn’t warp).
I used 95A TPU for mine but other flexible filaments like TPE would work also.
If you print at 0.2 mm layer height the pause will be on the layer before the last 2 layers.
