Description
I recently had the problem, that the stepper drivers were overheating in the back of the QIDI X-Plus 4 when the chamber heater is at max and the buildplate at 110°C. This creates a lot of heat in the area around the mainboard, so I decided to push the mainboard a little away from the hot inside cover and closer to the cooling fan.
Furthermore, I insolated the back of the printer and the hope is, that the radiation is not getting into the area where the mainboard is located.
I would recommend PETG or ABS for this modification.
