Description

This is a scale model (10:1) version of an E3D 0.4mm nozzle that is used as a nozzle holder. It was created using the official E3D drawing for a V6 nozzle.

This is a great addition to any 3D printer setup. Why hide your nozzles in a boring box or in a drawer? You will be proud to display this next to your printer so your spares are always close!

This has been tested with multiple nozzle types.

There are 2 versions available:

Nozzle with Magnets - 8x3mm magnets are glued into each half for a better, secure fit. A total of 8 magnets are needed (4 per side). If you have these magnets available, this model is the better option.

Nozzle with Guides - Small 3D printed guides are printed as separate pieces and glued in place in the main body. The nozzle tip just rests on top of the main nozzle body.

Print Details

I had success using a standard 0.2mm profile in PrusaSlicer. No supports are required.  However, a brim may be needed for the guides (if printing version 2). Because they are such a small print, they may release from the bed prematurely without a brim.
