This is a really quick and dirty set of basic river rocks sized to fit in a 25mm grid space. I've got 10x variations and a set of them that have flat tops so that a mini can climb on top or so you can stack them. They're really really basic and all of them should print fine without supports. The flattened versions are set at ~11mm in height or so which would be just over 2ft at 32/28mm scale - not a small step but not a large one at all either. The can be easily scaled to larger sizes to suit your needs whether for a diorama or fish tank or whatever else you'd like.

To make these I used Blender's rock generator, selected river rocks, increased the subdivisions then tweaked the scale to increase the displacement (could have been done with just increasing the displacement too). Then I cut each rock in half so they all had a flat side, then applied the displacement, flipped the upside down ones, adjusted the x/y/z to fit my my dimensions (this causes some warping in the material but imo it's fine). Finally the flattened versions were made with some fixed meshes that I did a boolean against.

SImple simple model but a good set of these is very handy to have. I really do like stackable rocks since in TTRPGs it encourages players (or monsters) to use them and adds a nice vertical dimension to the play area.

I'm trying to decide if I'll make 25x2, 3 and other variations of these - maybe maybe maybe.
