Auto-Rewinder Saddle for Extrutim Cheap Drybox

This Saddle replaces the rollers in @Extrutim's Drybox | Cheap Filament Storage Box | Polydryer Compatible Dry Box to work with my Auto-Rewinder for Ultimate Filament Drybox to eliminate problems with tangled filament due to MMU ejection of filament with each filament change - without requiring an MMU buffer! It also works great if you're not using an MMU or AMS!

This design consists of two identical Saddle parts that press into @Extrutim's base in place of the rollers and two identical (optional) Cross-Bar parts that slip into slots on the Saddles to provide extra support.

Using my Auto-Rewinder instead of the rollers in @Extrutim's design, you will need two 608 Bearings, but you will not need the four 625 Bearings or the four M5 x 16-20mm screws that were needed for the roller version.

To allow modifications, I have provided a STEP (.stp) file for the Saddle and the optional Cross-Bar.

3MF files have been provided for the Saddle and optional Cross-Bar, for two copies of the Saddle and optional Cross-Bar, AND for all Auto-Rewinder parts except for the optional TPU sleeves - to allow a complete Auto-Rewinder to be printed without you having to download the original Auto-Rewinder model!

The Saddles seen in the photos were printed in PETG with a 0.4mm nozzle at 0.2mm layer height with a 10% gyroid infill. None of the parts should require brims. Supports (on build plate only) ARE needed for the top portion of the Saddle (where the drum / spring rests). The provided 3MF files have Support Blockers where needed to suppress supports where they are not desired (the drum, drum cap, and axle).
