FreeCAD Tutorial: Shovel - Curves Workbench, Sweep Along 2 Rails

Following the tutorial i was not satisfied with the shape, hence i choose an alternative approach to obtain a more realistic result:

• rails are the sides and ruled surface is from back to tip (the tutorial does it the other way around)

• sweep:

  • for a better shape i chose the sides as rails instead of back + front

  • Blendng: Rail2 instead of Blend

• approximation curve: 

  • increased Approx Tolerance to 1mm

  • Degree Max: 5
