Prusa CORE One L

Swing Arm Cable/PTFE Brackets instead of the inelegant Velcro fasteners.

This brackets are also better keeping up the cable horizontal along to the Extruder.

If you don't like the cable/PTFE management with Velcro fasteners on the swingarm, here is a more elegant solution using printable brackets (cable clamps).

Printing recommendation:

Filament PETG, 0.4 Nozzle, 0.2mm Structural, 100% Infill, no supports

Mounting instructions: (see picture below)

  • Remove all velcros

  • Start with the right velcro on the swingarm:

    • slide the bracket onto the arm with the cable holder facing to the backside

    • push the bracket fully down with the left edge first, supporting the arm from below

    • slide the next swingarm bracket on to the next position at the arm, starting at the left edge, supporting the arm from below.

    • slide the last swingarm bracket at the end position of the arm, starting with the left edge, supporting the arm from below.

    • put the Nextruder cable into the brackets of the swing arm starting at the right bracket.

    • push the first past-swingarm bracket about 6 cm from the end of the swingarm onto the cable, with the opening for the cable facing to the outside of the cable bend.

    • push the next past-swingarm bracket about 6 cm from the first bracket onto the cable, with the opening for the cable facing to the outside of the cable bend.

    • push the last past-swingarm bracket about 6 cm from the middle bracket onto the cable, with the opening for the cable facing to the outside of the cable bend.

    • now push the PTFE tube onto the brackets, starting at the swing arm.

It would be nice if you leave a like and/or a rating if you are satisfied with the model.

I dont have a CORE One L yet, so i was not able to test the brackets.
