Description
There are 2 models in this post. A simple square parametric box to use as a simple enclosure for whatever you want, and also another box I used to build a DIY power supply.
The parametric box is done in freecad from the tutorial given by https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cJfbINgyz-k The freecad file is attached here as the model "parametricBox.FCStd". It is the result of diligently following the tutorial for the box and lid from the above youtube video. The box is fully constrained and parametric.
The working parts of the power supply are meant as a remix of the power supply design from https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PhLFmokgr9oThe file "PowerSupplyV2REV2.FCStd" is a partially parametric, supported modification of the model from the parametric box tutorial, with adaptations for my uses, mainly a side mount female banana clip connection point, a switch of the 8x14mm size, using a power wire of 6mm, and an 80mm case fan for cooling.
The parts list for the power supply is:
1x AC-DC 36V 5A 180W Switching Power Supply
1x UC Tronics 50V 5A step down converter
1x 80mm x 80mm PC fan
1x Mini Rocker Switch 2 Pin ON-OFF SPST 125VAC/6A 250VAC/3A Red KCD11
1x black Banan Plug - female
1x red Banana Plug - female
1x 3 prong power cord, round.
