Description
Ball joint split into two parts, hold together with screws.
Like this the ball can easily be inserted to the joint and the grip / friction can be fine tuned.
Slides on the original metal part which is glued to the glas and interfaces the mirror.
The original part broke when my kid tried to take off her backpack in the front seat…
Requires two screws M3x16…20 ISO 4762 and two threaded inserts M3 (holes of 4.1mm for the inserts; I use the ones from CNC kitchen which you can get on Amazon)
If I understand Ford spare part numbers correct, this should also for fit Fiesta and Focus models.
