Description

Update: 27-03-2026

  • Ive added a version of the Thermalright Mount that accepts standard M3 Hex Nuts instead of threaded inserts along with a version of the thumbnut that also takes a standard M3 hex nut

  • Nut dimensions: 5.5mm x 3.2mm

  • Make sure you flow rate is calibrated as the nuts will be a firm fit.

This is an AIO mount for the BC-250, it' specifically designed for the following:

  • MSI MAG Coreliquid A15

  • Thermalright Aqua Elite (My recommend AIO and make sure its the ARGB or ARGB V2 only)

  • Minorsonic

Support for other coolers will be on you to try, it has support for LGA 1851 and AM4/5 bolt patterns, so it can support additional brands, there is also a generic one you can try.

This needs to be printed in a strong stiff material, mine is printed from PC-CF, Id suggest minimum material would be ABS, or ABS-CF, please do not print from PLA or PETG, except for checking fitment.

When testing fitment to an alternative AIO or open or open loop block, please add this to the comment section,  a link to the product, and a photo if possible, then I can start creating a supported list, also if it doesn't fit properly, please let me know, with some photos and measurements so I can then create a mount that is compatible and add it to the support list.

I'm currently waiting for Old Lamer to receive his Teucer AIO Kit so he can test fitment and provide feedback, once this is done, I will add this to the supported list.

Update: 10/02/2026:

  • Added a mount now for the Thermalright Aqua Elite (My recommend AIO)

  • Added a back plate, this should be used for all mounts, and will increase clamping pressure on the APU and will also slightly increase contact pressure with the VRAM modules, and will limit the PCB from flexing when clamping the pump block down.

  • Added thumb nuts and spring seats.

  • Updated the BOM's with links to parts required.

  • Added a video to show how I install my threaded inserts.

Please Note: The threaded inserts are not designed to be thermally set, they are press fit from the bottom, the recommend ones are are perfect fit, have a 6mm x 1mm lip to prevent them from being pulled through the plastic, all you need to do, is hold them on place with your finger, and from the other side, wind in the M3 bolt, and tighten it down, this will pull the threaded insert into place, I use a small M3 washer on the bolt to prevent the bolt from damaging the plastic, if you use normal threaded inserts, they can pull right through if tightened to much, these ones I use, do not, I use them in all my designs now, and I design so they do not require melting into place, my method is better, stronger and easier, but you have to purchase the correct ones.

Correct way to install the threaded inserts in my designs:

Update: 3/02/2026

  • I've uploaded a generic mount that should be suitable for some AM4 and AM5, along with most Intel mounts, can be used with large air coolers, AIO's or open loop blocks, I have no idea on compatibility, so I recommend just printing from PLA to do a test fitment, if it fits what your testing it with, please post the details so I can list it here as supported, if its not right, please also post it here with photos and I will if its possible, alter the design to make it compatible for you, so I will need help to expand support for this.

Update: 25/01/2026

  • The Minorsonic 240/360 AIO mount has been community tested and is now been upgraded to complete, the community member has now taken the title of the highest score in Superposition for the BC-250.

  • The next one soon to be released is the Thermalright Aqua Elite 240/360 this is another lower cost unit, available globally, as soon as it arrives I will confirm fitment and release the compatible mount.

  • If you are considering this and are wondering if you will need to go to a 360 rad, I can confirm you wont, the 240 will be enough, 360 is overkill, I have pushed my test board to the limits, pulled well over 400w of power from the wall, have maxed out the clocks and voltages, ran countless benchmarks and game tests, the MSI 240 barely gets warm, and it does it in silence, if you needed more, then upgraded the 1500rpm stock fans with some good Arctic or Noctua would be all you would need.

  • I will be releasing a new version of my Steam Machine case soon, this will be designed to run a 240mm AIO, teaser images below:

Update: 23/01/2026

  • WIP: New Mount to support the Minorsonic 240/360 AIO

Update: 14/1/2026

  • Just upload new models, made a slight adjustment so all clamping bolts are now M3x14mm, this makes it easier that finding 2 different length bolts.

  • Update my eBay listing as I now have high strength PC-ABS in stock and I'm switching up to this material for future orders.

BOM For the Thermalright and Minorsonic:

Note: You print the thumb nuts and spring seats for these coolers, minimum mounting bolt length is 45mm, longer is fine, shorter will make mounting difficult and can compress the springs to much, also please make sure to check you are purchasing the correct Thermalright AIO, as there is about 50 models called the same thing, will want one of these types: ARGB or ARGB V2

  • Global Link (Requires 16 of these): M3x3.5x4.6x6

  • Global Link (Requires 4 of these): 10mm x 5mm x 0.9mm Springs

  • Global Link: M3 Bolts - 12x14mm - 4x45mm

  • Amazon: Minorsonic 240 AIO

  • Amazon: Thermalright Aqua Elite 240 AIO

  • Global Link: Thermalright Aqua Elite 240 AIO

Recommended Filament (ABS-GF or PET-CF, not PETG-CF):

  • Global Link (Amazon): Quality ABS-GF 1Kg

Recommend Thermal Interface Material:

  • Global Link (Amazon): PTM7950

BOM For the MSI:

Note: You use the thumbnuts with springs that come with it in the kit.

  • Global Link (Requires 12 of these): M3x3.5x4.6x6

  • Global Link: M3 Bolts - 12x14mm - 4x35mm

  • Amazon: MSI MAG Coreliquid A15

Recommended Filament (ABS-GF or PET-CF, not PETG-CF):

  • Amazon: Quality ABS-GF 1Kg

Recommend Thermal Interface Material:

  • Amazon: PTM7950

If your looking for some small heatsinks to stick on the VRM's and even the VRAM, The GeeekPi Kit is pretty good, but here are some alternatives as well.
