Description
I needed a panel mount fuse holder for a project did not want to buy ten from Amazon. I designed this one and while I was at it a mini fuse version. For the connectors I used terminals from a set I bought from Amazon a few years ago. I used the 6.3mm (1/4") and the 4.8mm (3/16") terminals. To make the fit right, clamp the 6.3mm terminal end down and test it with a fuse until a good tight fit works. The 4.8mm had to be opened a little for a good fit. It was too tight and the fuse would not insert. Crimp the wires in, insert them into holder and glue cover on. I designed TPU covers to cover the exposed points on top of the fuse.
You will need a hole about 21.5mm x 8.5mm. Hole distance is 29mm x 3mm. Total space used on front is 40 x 11.5mm. Depth with terminals is about 25mm.
The mini hole is 16.5mm x 6.5mm. Hole distance 26mm x3mm. Total space used on front is 34 x 8.5mm. Depth with terminals is about 22mm.
I used PLA at 0.20 layer, 3 walls, 25% infill, no supports.
