Description
Adapter to install Bambu H2D Hotend Heating assembly on Elegoo Centauri Carbon for quick change Nozzle.
The overall height has been intentionally shortened by a few tenths of millimeter for safety reasons related to the cleaning area. A change in the z-offset is necessary; I typically find it to be -0.250 compared to the original nozzle.
The ceramic area of this heater reaches high temperatures, so the fan has been designed to cool this substrate. It is advisable to perform a PID calibration after installation.
Take care that wires and connectors do not touch the rear substrate of the heater.
Two versions, one shortened held with only two screws. A small rectangle of thermal insulation could be placed on the free back part of the substrate in shortened version.
3X or 2X Brass M3 nut inserts are required (3x3x4.5)
The M3 screws of heater must be shortened or replaced with 8mm long button head screws. That does not protrude behind adapter.
The H2D heater and thermistor connectors need to be replaced.
