Description
After the Fracture split Lumière from the rest of the world, an enormous monolith with the glowing number "100" on it appeared on the northern end of the Continent. The year this event took place is retroactively known as "Monolith Year 100". On a proscribed day each year, a gigantic being known as the Paintress would awake and change the number, counting down each year and "erasing" all those of that age and older in Lumière. The tradition came to be known as the Gommage.
A diorama of The Monolith, from the game Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. It is printed in 3 parts, the Monolith, Paintress and the number 33. There is also an option with the 33 already embedded into the monolith, which is a better option since it has to be painted anyway.
I used a gold acrylic paint, if you dont have a spray can will work (spray a little on a container and use the brush to lightly apply it using the images as a reference.
The numbers are glued on, they are quite fragile and you will get better results using a 0.2 nozzle. Keep moving them on the surface until you “feel” that they fit, remember the location and apply glue.
The paintress is quite fragile so take care removing the supports. Hands, feet and body were painted with acrylic gold paint. When you are done painting, glue her… rear to the stairs :S
I will eventually make a circular base with the game logo and add it to the profile, it will take some time though.
Any issues, let me know.
