Heavy-Duty Adjustable Leveling Foot (Ball Joint ±15°)
A heavy-duty adjustable leveling foot designed for workbenches, machines, cabinets, storage units, and other heavy furniture where stability and precise leveling are essential.
The design was originally created for my billiard table, where precise leveling is critical. After extensive real-world use it proved to be strong and reliable, which is why I decided to share it as a general-purpose heavy-duty leveling foot.
The integrated ball joint allows ±15° angular compensation, enabling the foot to adapt to uneven floors while maintaining full contact and proper load distribution.

Height Adjustment
Height adjustment is performed tool-free via an integrated knurled adjustment ring.
Insert an M8 bolt into the hexagonal socket to prevent it from turning, then place the bushing on top to close the gap and keep the bolt in place.
The relatively long adjustment range allows the foot to not only level furniture but also raise heavy objects when additional clearance is required.
Ball Retention
The lower housing uses snap-fit retention claws that securely hold the ball while still allowing smooth angular movement.
This keeps the ball captured even under load while preserving full articulation.
Base Variants
Two base options are included to suit different setups and user preferences.
The leveling foot can also be used without additional anti-slip material if maximum grip is not required.

Print Settings
Recommended settings:
Layer height: 0.2 mm
Perimeters: 4
Infill: ~30% (depends on the application and expected load)
Material: PETG or stronger recommended
Supports: none required
PLA may work, but PETG, ABS or ASA are recommended for durability and long-term load capacity.
TPU is only required if you want to print the optional anti-slip rings.
Assembly
Insert the M8 bolt from the top into the hex socket.
Press the ball into the lower housing until the snap claws engage.
Screw the adjustment ring to set the desired height.
Optionally install the TPU anti-slip rings in the grooves.
