Description
This model represents the Bat-Bot character from The Batman (2004) animated series. It was created at the request of a Printables community member. The original available material consisted only of limited sketches and drawings, which were used as the sole visual reference.
The entire process of generating the missing views and the base geometry was performed using AI-based tools. The character was not modeled manually from scratch. Instead, AI-generated round-view references were created from the sparse source material and subsequently converted into a 3D model. Only light manual cleanup and adjustments were done in Blender. Further optimization was carried out directly in the slicer, including the addition of Batman logos as vector graphics.
The included Batbot_Split.3mf file is pre-cut and correctly oriented to simplify printing. The printed example shown was produced as a test print.
Material: PLA (example print used Prusa Goldfish PLA)
Layer height: 0.15 mm
Infill: not critical
Supports: required
The model is split into multiple parts and must be assembled after printing.
Parts are intended to be bonded using CA (cyanoacrylate) adhesive suitable for 3D prints.
Careful alignment during assembly minimizes visible seams after gluing.
Static, non-articulated figure.
Post-processing, especially painting, is recommended for best visual results.
This model was created using an AI-assisted workflow. The generation of reference views and the base 3D geometry was performed using AI tools and not modeled fully by hand. Manual work was limited to cleanup, minor adjustments, and slicing optimization.
