Description
Sometimes a zipper just needs something you can actually grab.
This paracord zip puller is a simple, functional, and good-looking solution for backpacks, jackets, bags, and pretty much anything with a zipper that deserves an upgrade.
I originally designed it for my motorcycle gear (because reaching into a tank bag with gloves can be… interesting 😏), but it works just as well for everyday use.
The design consists of two printed parts:
The main body holds the paracord loop
The cap covers the melted ends for a clean, seamless, one-piece look
Melt the paracord ends, press in the cap, done. No knots, no dangling mess, no drama.
Features
Two-piece design for a clean, finished appearance
Compatible with standard paracord (e.g. 550)
Secure paracord loop that’s easy to grab and comfortable to pull
Hides melted ends completely for a neat, professional look
Works great on backpacks, jackets, bags, and outdoor gear

Assembly
Thread both paracord ends through the body to form a loop
Pre-shaping the ends can help with easier threading and cleaner assembly
(e.g. using a paracord melting form like this one:

Melt the ends slightly so they won’t slip back out
Press in the cap to cover the ends and finish the look
Final melting after insertion is still required to create the retaining bulge — because perfection needs a little heat. 😏
