Description
Wall mountable curved JWST mirror designed for use with 110mm gold hexagonal mirrors commonly available on sites like Amazon. Careful peeling off the backing to reveal the adhesive, the mirrors I got use a thin foil for the gold reflective part and it got kind warped and looks kind of like something like a fun-house mirror now.
The curvature was designed so when you're standing where the secondary mirror would be, all mirror segments face you. As you walk backwards and forwards, you should move further out or in and when you're roughly 1.2m from the mirror, you should appear in all mirror segments at once.
Designed to be printed in 4 segments with locking pieces that use M3 hardware to assemble. You can probably glue it together as well but it is quite sturdy with M3 screws and hexagonal nuts.
For mounting, there are multiple cutouts for mounting with screws/nails, but I found using 2 command strips does a great job.
Each segment roughly fills my Prusa XLs build volume so you'll probably need a similarly sized bed or bigger.
