Description
Here are some basic rear links for the SCX30 to increase your wheelbase by 5mm. These probably wont fit your stock bodies without modification obviously, but can work will on custom and fenderless rear bodies like the one shown (coming soon). These are slightly larger than stock, mainly because they have to be for an FDM printer.
The easiest way to install ball joints if you havent before, is to use a stock screw or bolt, but it through the balljoint, and then use a small needle nose pliers to push on the bolt, into the link. The bolt head helps to not deform or destroy the hole of the balljoint. If you havent done this before, print some extras.
And if you've never printed links before they can be tricky depending on the quality and maintenance state of your printer. I recommend printing at an angle to help keep the ball sockets round, but you might need to experiment. I print these on a P1S at 45 degrees (sideways, not vertically) at .08 height.
