Description
I got a badly crashed Avios extra 330LX from someone and I'm slowly rebuilding it through the power of 3D printing and glue.
Here is part 1: a replacement motor mount and firewall.
I recommend printing these parts at least in PETG or ABS. Something like 4 walls and 40% infill should be OK.
You can pinch the firewall together and somehow get it into the nose of the plane. Glue that into place with UHU POR, or hotglue or something like that.
Then you glue the mount into the firewall, that will give rigidity to the firewall and lock things into place.
