Housing for 10MHz reference oscillator oven (OCXO)

Use case

If you are not an electronics hobbyist or radio amateur, you will probably have no use for a highly stable and very precise 10MHz reference signal source. For the others, this cheap part is a treasure. Yes, the OCXO module itself is apparently refurbished, as can be seen by the little dents and wear marks. Also if you look on Alibaba, you will find the used modules for a few dollars. They seem to be taken out of old commercial equipment, like mobile phone infrastructure or such. Anyway, if you happen to own one, here is a housing.

Printing

Both parts a very simple to print. I recommend 4 perimeters, and 5 layers each for bottom on top (then the infill will not matter, there is none). Just print both parts in the uploaded orientation. I used PETG, but I am pretty sure PLA fill be fine as well

Assembly

• Obviously you the board itself, this is where I bought mine: Amazon Germany

• Then you need 4 pieces of M2.5x5 screws, that will be self tapping into the screw doms. 

• Once you have screwed the boards in, simply snap on the top to the bottom. Friction will keep both part well together, but you can typically get it open with you fingernail or a little screw driver.
