Description
I was looking for something simple and cheap to turn pages in the foreScore app on iPad while playing the piano. Popular Bluetooth page turners are $100+. Flic buttons are $35 and Flic offers many integrations including foreScore.
There are 3 parts to the pedal. The top part simply rests on top of the middle part but has a dovetail to keep it from lifting off in the front and a channel in the middle to keep it from moving left and right. The middle part is where you set the Flic. The Flic sits on 2 small nubs that are keyed to the bottom of the Flic. This allows you to twist the top of the Flic which will unlock its base plate so you can easily change the battery. The bottom part needs to be printed in Flex and attaches just by compression of the slightly oversized pegs.
Printing Recommendations:
Top
Print upside down to avoid supports. I printed this in PLA using Prusa "0.20 Structural" settings but with a 50% Infill to give it some weight
Middle

Bottom
Requires FLEX filament as it needs to grip the floor. I printed this in Fiberology Flex 40D using the recommended bed and nozzle temps from their website. I could have printed this more reliably upside down but I want the texture of the bed to further add grip to the feet. I had some issues getting the print to fully adhere to the bed for the whole print so I ended up adding "mouse ears" to the corners. To do this in Prusa Slicer, right-click the shape area > add shape > gallery > helper disk. I set the Z height of the disks to 500%, placed them in the corners so that they intersected only with the corner squares, and then merged all of the shapes together. This really helped keep the print down. Then, I just cut off the ears after the print was done.
