Dali IO-12 Earpad Adapter (WIP)

These are earpad adapters for the Dali IO-12. The original earpads are excellent but the adhesive degrades overtime. Unfortunately, buying OEM Dali IO-12 earpads are fairly expensive so I wanted to have an alternative. I've included a series of different IO-12 adapters. Two circular adapters with a 112mm and 100mm diameter. The 112mm diameter can fit earpads from the Audeze LCD headphones (photo) and the 100mm diameter can fit earpads from brands such as Beyerdynamic. I've also included a version that can fit the B&O H95 earpads, though you will have to source your own 6x3mm (diam x height) magnets.

I've also included the bayonet locking mechanism without any adapter piece that can be used to make a custom adapter for any kind of earpad. I will note that if you're adapting earpads that are not circular, the left and right adapters must be a different angles. The Left earpad should be tilted by 15° and the Right should be 5°. That will allow them to lock into the correct angle for comfortable wearing. The original earpads are somewhere between 25-30mm in thickness, so depending on the earpad you're adapting, you may have to add some extra thickness to have a similar ear spacing compared to the OEM earpads.

While this is a Work in Progress, the majority of the work is finished with only slight adjustments to be made for printability, comfort, and accuracy.
