Description
This is a remix of dancan13f's excellent GPIO and wifi cover. Specifically, it is a remix of his V2 model. In addition to holding both the GPIO and wifi modules, this remix adds loops for zip ties to attach to. The idea is that zip ties here can add strain relief to any cables/wires attaching to the GPIO pins. This should both avoid accidental stress on the pins and also keep things nice and neat.
The GPIO hackerboard is mounted with (up to) 4 M3x6mm screws. See pictures on dancan13f's original upload (link). Two screws would probably be enough.
I have intentionally not included the cover cap, which can be used to cover the GPIO pins. To find this, go back to dancan13f's original and give him a download as well. In fact, even if you use my model, please also give him a like as well.
Note that both this version and dancan13f's original cover still allows you to use the USB-C port. The model is cleverly designed to not obstruct the USB-C port located above the wifi module, so you can still use e.g. Octoprint.
I have included versions with a loop just on the top, a loop just on the bottom, and loops both on top and bottom. I can't add .step files because I remixed from an STL, but if you want to further modify the design, you can access my Onshape workspace here: Onshape CAD link
