Description
"Pre-Prosthetic" that uses a rotary locking coupling. 1/4 turn rotary locking collar uses magnets to maintain open/closed position. Â Thermoform the base to fit onto a thermoplastic forearm cuff.Â
Requires three 5mm x 3mm magnetsÂ
Print settings: .2mm height
No supports needed

Base Assembly:
Glue magnets to "Locking Ring" & "Female Base" (ensure correct magnet orientation)
Glue the base assembly together (see pic); ensure "Locking Ring" freely rotates 1/4 turn.
Mold thermoplastic splinting material as a cuff around residual limb
Heat up the perforated section of "Female Base" (hot water or a heat gun) and mold to the plastic cuff (see pic); use glue or more splinting material to fasten in place
Tool Assembly: Â
Ball and socket Tool uses foam tubing (e.g. Rubazote)
Print "Tool - Screw" first
In your slicer, insert a pause for the "Tool - Foam Holder" print
When printing has paused, place the pre-printed  "Tool Screw" onto the shaft.Â
