K1C Unibody Riser Timelapse Remote Holder & Trigger

• No rooted firmware for K1C 2025 at time of writing. No custom webcam, no Octolapse. 😡

• This is a set of simple Bluetooth remote holder and "trigger stick".

• Do timelapse with your smartphone by using the print head to trigger the remote on every layer.

• Feel free to remix on my Tinkercad.

• Bluetooth Remote - This one | Search

• 2 X M3*10 Screws

• VHB Tape

• Optional - Rechargeable CR2032 Battery | CR2032 Charger

HOW TO BUILD

• Stick holder into top-right corner with VHB.

• Attach "trigger stick" onto right side of print head using 2 X M3*10 screws.

HOW TO TIMELAPSE

• Pair Bluetooth remote with your smartphone.

• Place controller into holder.

• Position your smartphone camera. Highly recommended to use manual exposure/exposure lock.

• Insert GCode in GCODE-TIMELAPSE.txt into the timelapse section in your slicer (may need some time/position fine tuning).

• Remember to turn on timelapse before printing.
