Making Candles / Kerzenform / Pouring candles

A simple mold for casting candles. The body and the cap must be printed twice. I placed the body on the parting surface and printed it with supports so that the small slot for the metal base could be printed. However, you can also print the body upright and glue the metal base to the bottom with a little wax. The closure is a little difficult at first, but becomes easier the more often you loosen it. Caution: Allow the wax to cool slightly after heating! Do not pour when boiling hot! The wick with metal base is easy to find online (e.g., eBay), just Google it. Have fun making candles.

Eine einfache Form zum Kerzen gießen. Der Körper und der Verschluss müssen zwei Mal gedruckt werden. Ich habe den Körper auf die Teilungsfläche gelegt und mit stützen gedruckt, damit der kleine Schlitz für den Metallfuß druckbar ist. Man kann aber auch den Körper hochkant drucken und den Metallfuß unten mit ein wenig Wachs festkleben. Der Verschluss geht am Anfang etwas schwer, wird aber leichter je häufiger man den Verschluss löst. Achtung: Das Wachs nach dem erhitzen etwas abkühlen lassen! Nicht kochend heiß eingießen! Den Docht mit Metallfuß bekommt man ganz einfach im Internet (z.B. Ebay), einfach mal Googlen. Viel Spaß beim Kerzen gießen.
