Description
This is a modular, snap-together curtain rail system designed specifically to eliminate light gaps. Unlike standard rails, this system includes integrated side-shields to block light from "leaking" over the top and sides of the curtain.
The pieces are designed to interlock like puzzle pieces, allowing you to scale the rail to any window width without needing massive printer beds.
Standard Segment Length: 175mm
Assembly Style: Puzzle-piece / Snap-fit
Light Blocking: Integrated wrap-around shields for top and side coverage.
Customization: The Bottom Segment is the only piece intended for modification/scaling to fit your specific window height or finishing requirements.
I originally designed these because I needed a solution for my own bedroom to achieve total darkness. I started by looking at this design by d_jespersen, but I found they didn't quite meet my specific needs for light-bleed and modularity. I took inspiration from that concept and engineered my own version from scratch to include a snap-fit puzzle system and enhanced side-shielding for a truly "blackout" experience.
Note: These rails are non-directional and can be mounted both ways (left or right) to fit your space.
The only part that should be changed is the length of the bottom part (Hopefully). So that they fit your windows.
