Parametric Skadis Lego Adapter

Parameters that can be changed:

• wall_distance: The distance of the Lego adapter from the Skadis wall

  • default: 20mm

  • range: 1mm+

• angle: The angle/pitch of the Lego adapter

  • default: 45°

  • range: 0°-90°

• studs_x: The width of the adapter in number of studs 

  • default: 2

  • range: 1+

• studs_y: The length of the adapter in number of studs

  • default: 2

  • range: 1+

• part_width: The overall strength of the part

  • default: 5mm

  • range: 1mm+

The design will automatically add additional Skadis hooks when increasing the width of the part.

Printing instructions:

• Print part laying on the side, with the first hooks touching the build plate

• Use tree supports for the studs

  • This is important as studs have to be very accurate to fit well, so too much deformation on the overhangs will cause issues.

• For parts with more than one set of hooks, also use tree supports for them.
