THE SMILING FILAMENT CLIP

I tried many clips, but none of them met all my requirements:

1. Easy to attach / no need to align the clip on the spool

2. Fits on every spool

3. Can always stay on the spool, even while printing

4. Springless design (sooner or later, they all lose their spring force)

5. no damage to the filament

6. Makes me smile :))

Therefore I invented this smart Filament Clip.

The square and rounded one ist for all "hard" Filaments.
The octagon-shaped is for soft Filaments like TPU etc

I tested a lot of different clamping forces. If its too loose or too tight for you, just scale it 2-3% in the slicer.

Update (v2) 30.01.26: Optimized center hole with teardrop-shape for way better printing.
This prevents the filament from getting stuck in this hole, especially at the end of the spool where the filament is bent in a tighter radius.
