Description
Akaran Tempest Cleric is a single-piece tabletop miniature depicting a bald, red-bearded storm cleric mid-stance. Blue ritual tattoos mark his scalp, ornate medieval-style armor covers his torso and shoulders, and a dark blue cape falls from his shoulders. He grips a large double-headed war hammer with a wooden handle and engraved metal heads. The model sits on a plain, undecorated circular base.
Design highlights
Face and head: Bald head with a full red beard and distinct blue tattoos that read clearly at close range.
Armor: Intricate chest and shoulder engravings that catch light and print detail well.
Weapon: Double-headed war hammer with decorative metal ends and a textured wooden handle.
Cape: Dark blue cape sculpted to flow naturally with the pose for a dynamic silhouette.
Base: Plain, simple circular base with no decorations; integrated into the single-piece model.
Print format: Supplied as a single-piece STL and a 3MF file containing the exact print orientation and support settings I created for minis.
Printability notes
3MF settings: The included 3MF contains my custom orientation and support layout designed for easy removal and minimal cleanup.
Resin printing: Recommended layer height 50–60 µm to preserve facial tattoos and armor filigree. Orient to minimize supports on the face and hammer details.
FDM printing: Consider slight scaling and a brim; orient the model to reduce overhangs on the cape and hammer. Use a lower layer height for better detail on the beard and engravings.
Supports: The 3MF’s support pattern focuses on removable touchpoints under the hammer and cape tips; remove supports carefully to avoid damaging fine details.
