License plate tag vanity frame

This is a license plate frame that should fit any state tag in the USA. I included the step files, and not the stl files because it is designed to put a company name, or family name on the bottom. You'll need to import it into your favorite CAD software and add whatever custom words onto it. Then you can export it as an STL, and print it.

I recommend making the text a separate part and gluing them on after printing is done, but you can also integrate the text into the part and do a color change for the text. The only downside is that a large amount of support material is then needed to print it with the text integrated, whereas very little support material is needed if the text is separate.

Print instructions

The two halves should print face down and will only need support for the two small tabs on the bottom of the cover. The two connectors can also print on the larger face and do not need support. The two halves are then glued together with epoxy. The connector pieces add strength. The text can then be glued onto the face.
