CAMERA CANOPIES Five canopy options at launch covering the most popular micro FPV cameras.
HDZero Lux for the sharpest digital image in the class.
HDZero Eco for a lighter digital option.
Caddx Ant for a proven analog camera.
Pinch for pilots running that system.
DJI O4 Air Unit for full DJI digital.
Each canopy clips onto the front of the frame and lets you set your tilt angle without screws or zip ties.
More camera options coming — drop a comment if you need one that is not listed.
FLIGHT CONTROLLER COVER
Honeycomb design that snaps over your stack and locks onto the stack screws so you do not need separate nuts. Does two jobs at once — protects your flight controller and secures the stack. Built-in channel on top routes your receiver antenna cleanly and keeps it out of the props.
BATTERY PADS
Small TPU pads that sit on the bottom of the frame under your battery. They slide onto the stack screws before anything else goes on and keep your battery on a cushioned surface instead of grinding against screw heads every flight.
BATTERY STRAPS
Ribbed on the bottom so you can tell which direction it should lay. Holds your battery securely against the pads on the underside of the frame.
ABOUT THE FRAME
The Flying Squirrel is a 75mm squashed-X FPV frame cut from 2mm carbon fiber. Built for 1S digital and analog builds. Carbon-integrated motor bumpers at each arm tip take the hit before your motor bell ever touches the ground. Sealed motor mounts keep dust and dirt out. Direct swap from BetaFPV and HappyModel whoops — your motors, props, and electronics come right over.
The frame is available for pre-order at https://theporto.com/squirrel
