Description
Instead of using supports, I took a technique from Angus (MakersMuse https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RPijCjz9G1w ) and added eight 0.2mm thick cylinders. Each located at a step overhang in the screw holes (2 per hole). This allows the printer to bridge the larger, lower hole before starting the upper, smaller hole. Then clean the sacrificial bridging that is blinding the holes with an appropriately sized drill bit.
I then added text to the print bed to remind me what size drill bits to use to remove the sacrificial bridging blinding the holes. I did all this in PrusaSlicer, so this remix is just a PrusaSlicer project file. Feel free to tear apart my technique to apply to other models that you've downloaded (or are designing).
See the original of what I remixed for the excellent assembly directions.
