Description
A fully-custom 1:24 scale vending machine with a fictional soda brand. Design files are included in the Other Files section, but more info is available here. In short, all the graphic design is public domain, as is the model. The branding is a composite of original product photography with an original can wrapper, and some CC0 images from Wikimedia Commons. All CC0/public-domain sources are listed at the link above. I designed this from scratch to be part of a diorama.

Front Marquee: 30.7mm * 75mm
Side Marquee: 23.01mm * 72.01mm
Soda Options: 3.3mm * 7mm
Price Sticker: 1.31mm * 1.11mm
Bill Validator Decal: 3.79mm * 1.8mm
Thank You Decal: 8mm * 10mm
For the vending machine, print the 3D model with tree supports on the bed only. Use 0.1mm layer height for best results. Trim the top corners of the slot with a knife to ensure the marquee can fit through without snagging. The goal is to gouge into the slot to ensure any plastic burrs are cleared. For the "branding" items, print the decals on matte sticker paper. Use tweezers to place some of the smaller items. The front marquee is best printed on paper and laminated to achieve a balance of gloss and thickness for insertion. Use white acrylic to paint the buttons and a silver paint marker for the coin slot. Use black acrylic for touch-up.
For lighting, use an LED strip of your choice, and seal the rear with foil and glue.
